I love others who appreciate beauty like I do. I love natural landscapes when I go climbing, the aesthetics of fashion, the art of making music or even just a pancake. I also love philosophy, ideas and ted.com And recently I love south african blue eyes.. I could stare at them all day. I envy their beautiful eyes.
We must build our houses with mushrooms and plastic.. And glue it together with mycelium.. If not, we will drown in the sea of mushrooms and plastic bags! Noooo!!!
Lesson learnt = recycle now.. Our lives are at stake!
(Somehow, I can’t imagine this being on a billboard.. but hey! Worth a try!)
Rainn Wilson’s SoulPancake
This reminds me of one of Hannah’s works, where she painted someone’s face like this.. but can’t find a picture of the one I’m thinking about, so here is a link to her Flickr Gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hannahgarrod1/with/5330448323/
This song brings back memories of my uni days at Bournemouth, in the Firestation or in Dusk Till Dawn.. I always heard this song play between 2007-08. Can’t believe I haven’t seen this video until now! It reminds me of our fancy dress parties and playing hide & seek whilst drunk! Awesome!
I came across this via http://littledrifters.wordpress.com/ ..where it is explained how music is a powerful bonding tool. It’s so true.. who needs new clothes when you can have music instead! Bring on the summer I say! :D
For Dali, a woman’s mystery is her true beauty
It was amazing to see Dali’s ‘Woman Aflame’ on Cork Street (http://www.galleries.co.uk/g-crk.htm#78) today. Thanks for the recommendation Louise! The drawers represent a woman’s hidden secrets. In this day and age of “sharing”, how are we women meant to appear enigmatic as we once were in the days of the tudors? http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00y48pb/The_Tudors_Series_4_Episode_1/
